Anti-Discrimination

At DS College of Pharmacy, we are committed to fostering an environment that values diversity, promotes inclusivity, and actively opposes all forms of discrimination. We take pride in our rich tapestry of students and staff from various backgrounds, and we believe that diversity is not just a strength but a fundamental aspect of our identity.

To further strengthen our commitment to a discrimination-free campus, we are pleased to introduce the DS College of Pharmacy Anti-Discrimination Initiative.

Objectives of the Anti-Discrimination Initiative:

  • 1. Promoting Inclusivity: The initiative aims to create a campus culture that celebrates differences, appreciates individual uniqueness, and fosters a sense of belonging for all members of the college community.
  • 2. Zero Tolerance for Discrimination: We have a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic. Discrimination has no place within our college community.
  • 3. Awareness and Education: Through workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns, the Anti-Discrimination Initiative seeks to educate the college community about the harmful impact of discrimination and the importance of treating everyone with dignity and respect.
  • 4. Support and Reporting Mechanism: We provide a supportive environment for individuals who have experienced discrimination. The initiative ensures a confidential reporting mechanism and offers support services, counseling, and appropriate actions to address instances of discrimination.
  • 5. Policy Advocacy: The initiative collaborates with college administration to advocate for policies that reinforce our commitment to a discrimination-free environment.

How You Can Be Involved:

  • 1. Attend Awareness Programs: Engage in workshops and seminars to enhance your understanding of discrimination issues and contribute to a more inclusive culture.
  • 2. Report Incidents: If you witness or experience discrimination, report it to a committee member or through the designated reporting channels. Your voice matters.
